‘Adventure Prospect’ at Priddy’s Hard in Gosport, recently completely renovated with the support of the National Lottery Heritage Fund, is steeped in military history. Formerly known as the “shifting house” it was first built in the 19th century to accommodate munitions workers changing into the special clothing that they wore when working with explosives.

This two-bedroom cottage provides an ideal escape from everyday life and has direct access to the water. There is no TV or Wi-Fi at the property. Books, magazines and games are available for you to use. This is an ideal opportunity to relax from busy everyday life.

We also recommend no children under the age of 10 yrs due to the cottage’s close proximity to very deep water.

There’s plenty of parking next to the cottage through private gates.
